The HAUBEX set-up station offers an easy and fast way to prepare the clamping device hood for automated use. The Makro•Grip® HAUBEX 5-axis vise is inserted into the set-up station and then equipped with the workpiece blank. The 5-axis chuck can be removed by turning the tool hood upside down, performing a 45° counterclockwise rotation and locking the 5-axis vise in the tool hood. Removal of the 5-axis vise with the finished part from the tool hood is also possible with the setup station. To mount the setup station directly on a workbench, the rubber feet must be removed.
HAUBEX Automation System
HAUBEX can be used on practically any machine tool and flexibly throughout the entire production process. With the tool magazine as the storage medium, in which the workholding hood is stored together with the self-centering vise and workpiece blank and is automatically exchanged into the machine, HAUBEX manages completely without additional handling and storage systems.
