LANG Technik is very pleased with the results of AMB Stuttgart

With its 20th edition, AMB celebrated not only its anniversary from September 13 - 17, 2022, but also a bit of a return to normality. After four long years, Messe Stuttgart finally hosted the International Exhibition for Metalworking again, attracting the interest of nearly 65,000 visitors. On a completely booked trade fair site with packed halls, well over 1,000 exhibitors presented their systems and product solutions. The international audience had a lot to see and a lot to discuss. The topic of the future, "automation", was a particular topic of discussion. A trend that had already become apparent in sales discussions with customers in recent months and was confirmed at AMB.

"Our customers are primarily concerned with how they can utilize the capacities available to them in production. How can they automate their machines that they already have in-house?" says Sales Manager Giuseppe Semeraro about the questions that are mainly occupying customers at the moment. Set-up time reduction in clamping technology also continues to be a popular topic, says Giuseppe Semeraro.

However, this year's AMB was primarily characterized by personal contact, which was finally possible again without restrictions. This spirit of optimism was clearly noticeable among all those present, which certainly contributed to the excellent visitor numbers.

"After the cancellation of AMB 2020, we are happy to have seen many familiar faces again. We were also very pleased with the many new contacts we were able to make at our booth," sums up Managing Director Philipp Lang after five days at the trade show.

"The expectations regarding the number of visitors were exceeded, the quality of the discussions was extraordinarily good. This puts us in a very positive mood, especially with regard to the potential for future projects after the trade fair," says Philipp Lang confidently.

With a lot of momentum, LANG Technik is now heading into the last quarter of 2022, when preparations will already begin for the next trade fair appearances, which are scheduled for the beginning of next year. In March 2023, LANG Technik will present its products and possibly a few innovations at three different trade fairs in three countries at the same time. A lot to be excited about.
