Machining technicians generally work on CNC-controlled turning, milling and grinding machines. They create and optimize machining programs, set up machine tools or automation systems and manufacture components according to drawing specifications. Their tasks include monitoring the machining process, quality control of the manufactured components and the care and maintenance of the assigned machines and equipment.
The course of your training
- The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years, but can be shortened to 3 years if you perform very well at vocational school and in the company
- In the first 1.5 years of your apprenticeship, you will learn the basics of machining in the training workshop of our cooperation partner Gebr. Heller Maschinenfabrik GmbH in Nürtingen
- You will then fine-tune your training at LANG Technik in production as a fully-fledged team member. Here you will delve even deeper into the professional field of cutting machine operator (m/f/d) and expand your know-how on our automated machine tools
- Since our company stands for precision and quality, as a prospective cutting machine operator (m/f/d) you will learn from one of the pioneers in the clamping technology industry and can build on the experience and expertise of our employees every day!
The following applies to you
- You have a good secondary school leaving certificate or intermediate school leaving certificate
- You have a good command of German and English
- You have a high level of technical understanding and manual dexterity
- You work carefully and precisely
- You are a team player, helpful and like to work in a solution-oriented way
