The occupational field
Industrial clerks take on commercial tasks and are responsible for the organization of operational processes. They are the interface between different departments and have a wide range of tasks in the commercial area, such as planning projects, managing operational processes or processing orders. Industrial clerks are needed in all business areas. Therefore, all opportunities are open to you after successfully completing your training.
The course of your training
- The training period is 3 years, but can be shortened to 2.5 years if you perform very well at vocational school and in the company. If you have a technical college entrance qualification in the relevant subject area, it is possible to reduce the duration to 2 years
- During your apprenticeship, you will gain insights into various departments such as sales, marketing, purchasing, accounting, production and much more, and you will be involved in various apprentice projects
The following applies to you
- You have a secondary school leaving certificate or advanced technical college certificate / high school diploma
- You have a good command of German and English
- You show an interest in commercial matters and can grasp information quickly
- You are a team player, helpful and like to work in a solution-oriented way
